Statistics: Russia’s unemployment rises to 6.3% in July

MOSCOW, Aug 20 (PRIME) -- Russia’s unemployment rose to 6.3% of the labor force, or 4.7 million people, in July from 6.2% in June, the Federal State Statistics Service said on Thursday.

The number of officially registered unemployed stood at 3.3 million people, and 3 million people of them received unemployment benefits.
